It takes a Village
It takes more than just hard work, coaching and determination to reach that Olympic dream. I have a dream of not only making the 2026 Winter Olympics but making a career as a professional athlete on snow. Growing up my hero's and inspiration have all been professional athletes, I want to be able to inspire the next generation of skiing athletes and live a lifestyle of action, dedication and hard work. I'm well aware of the challenge I'm facing to reach the Olympic games or become successful on the World Cup.
Ski Racing is a grass-roots sport in New Zealand, to reach the Olympic games I am relying on forming partnerships with brands. Government funding is practically non-existent. The athletes we are competing against are generally fully funded, so we need to make training and competing our number one priority in order to compete at the highest level. I have big aspirations and the more support we can generate, the more we can deliver results.
Any financial support is greatly appreciated and really lightens our load.
